Dear all,
Hope you had a good rest after our Company Camp ended on Thursday. We're currently compiling photos of the year's events so if you have any to contribute, please pass them to either of us.
A reminder for the training dates for December 2009:
1. Mon 28/12/09 12-4 pm
2. Tues 29/12/09 8-12 pm
3. Wed 30/12/09 8-12 pm
You'll be meeting on these three dates to practise the Freestyle Drill item as well as to touch up the Orientation preparation.
Before 28/12/09, we would also expect your respective parts to have already started and done most work for Orientation. i.e. do not come to school on 28/12/09 without having done any preparation at all! Meet up at your own free time during December to work on this. We believe you will have great ideas...
Part As '09:
1. NCC Noticeboard
2. Video montage (duration: 1 min; purpose: showcase different activities of kc ncc; to be shown during 5-min presentation during CCA Fair 2010)
3. Pamphlets
- come up with a few templates & submit designs to us for selection
Part Cs '09:
1. NCC storeroom:
(a) design to be painted (submit to teacher-officers before buying paint)
(b) re-organization of store items + set up catalogue/store records
2. NCC display board (showcased during CCA Fair 2010)
3. Co-ordinate overall Orientation effort (different items showcased at NCC's booth during CCA Fair 2010)
Have a good rest this holidays, cadets. Do work on your PT standard as well during this holidays... Exercise a few times a week, e.g. by jogging/doing pushups/situps/etc. You can meet to exercise together or do it at your own time. Remember, if you're not satisfied with your fitness now, then do something about it! Don't wait till January before you work on it as PT is something that takes time to build up.
Best regards,
Ma'am Koh & Ma'am Tan

Theme: Red Carpet (for Part Ds & D1s)
Time: 5pm-9pm for Part Ds & D1s

2. All cadets (Part As-D1s) are to bring their consent forms (signed by parents) for the ORD Night.
(These consent forms were given out on the last day of school in Term 2- If, or any reason, any cadet has not received it, please get your parents to write a short note to state that they allow you to attend the activity. If your parents need confirmation that there is such an activity, get them to call me at 97452775.)
2. Those who have been to H1N1 affected areas (USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Chile, Japan, Spain, Argentina, Panama, Philippines, Thailand or Dominican Republic) from 16/6-22/6, please DO NOT turn up for the ORD Farewell on Tuesday 23/6/09.
